Several spells of showers will occur at Northern, North-central and Eastern provinces.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the other areas of the island after 1.00 p.m. Fairly heavy showers about 75mm are likely at some places in Central, Sabaragamuwa, Western and Uva provinces and in Galle and Matara districts.

Misty condition can be expected at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southern and Uva provinces during the morning.

The general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.

Condition of Rain:

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the sea areas around the island.

Winds:

Winds will be North-easterly or variable in direction and wind speed will be (20-30) kmph.

State of Sea:

The sea areas around the island will be slight.

Temporarily strong gusty winds and very rough seas can be expected during thundershowers.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places over most provinces of the island after 1.00 p.m. Fairly heavy showers above 75mm are likely at some places in Central, Sabaragamuwa, Western and Uva provinces and in Galle and Matara districts.

A few showers may occur in Northern and Eastern provinces during the morning too.

Misty Condition can be expected in Sabaragamuwa, Central and Uva provinces during the morning.
