There will be showers or thundershowers at times in the sea areas off the coast extending from Puttalam to Hambantota via Galle. Showers can be expected at a few places in other sea areas around the island too.
Winds will be Southwesterly direction and speed will be 20 - 40 km/hr. The speed may increase up to 50-60kmph at times in the sea areas off the coast extending from Puttalam to Trincomalee via Jaffna and Galle to Pottuvil via Hambantota.
