There will be showers or thundershowers at times in the sea areas off the coast extending from Puttalam to Hambantota via Galle. Showers can be expected at a few places in other sea areas around the island too.
Winds will be Southwesterly direction and speed will be 20 - 40 km/hr. The speed may increase up to 50kmph at times in the sea areas off the coast extending from Puttalam to Pottuvil via Galle and Hambantota and Gulf of Mannar sea area.
The sea areas off the coast extending from Puttalam to Pottuvil via Galle and Hambantota and Gulf of Mannar sea area will be fairly rough at times.
